Who we are
Fábrica de Algoritmos S.A.S. is a Colombian technology company based in Barranquilla. We build software for businesses and develop our own products, from the infrastructure up to the application.
Our story
More than six years building tools
Behind Fábrica de Algoritmos there are more than six years of building software tools. It all started with Sagitta POS, a point-of-sale system for retail.
To improve it and stop depending on outside providers, we built our own infrastructure: NexaBase, a backend as a service. Around it came NexaBase Report, NexaBase S3 and a full suite of tools; Phoenix ERP and Carina CRM followed, among other developments.
That same foundation now powers the technology behind NOVA Workspace and NOVA Family, and it is what we bring to every project we build for our clients.

How we got here

The starting point: a point-of-sale, inventory and shipping system for retail.

Fábrica de Algoritmos is led by two complementary profiles: software architecture and business strategy.
Francisco Eduardo Miranda Pérez
Founder and Chief Technology Officer, Fábrica de Algoritmos
Software architect and technology integration specialist. He leads the architecture and engineering of Fábrica de Algoritmos’ products and projects. He is also a co-founder of NOVA, where he leads the platform’s technology.
Martín Manuel Bravo Baldovino
Legal representative of Fábrica de Algoritmos S.A.S. and CEO of NOVA
Business administrator and financial markets specialist with a Master’s in Banking and Finance from IEB in Madrid, and more than ten years of experience in banking and investment. He is a co-founder of NOVA, where he leads business vision, strategy and commercial development, and the author of “La segunda geografía”.
